Buy links without buying links

Now that you have created a website that would give your business an online presence, the thing that you must want to do now is to give it some traffic. Yes, every website owner operating a business online must dream of having many visitors to his site, and one way to get this done is to buy links to the website. Buying links can give your site hundreds of visitors in an instant, and this is of course more than what you can ask for.

The thing is, buying links can seem like you’re spamming, and that is not at all good. Even Google is against this even if the purpose is quite noble, that is to improve search engine rankings. This technique, you see, can influence the ability of the search engine when using links as a signal of the importance for search rankings.
So here are other ways you can buy links without actually buying them at all.

First, sponsor an event. Whether it is online or not, sponsoring an event can get you a link from the event’s website, and perhaps from other sites attending the event. The first thing you need to do to get this done is to search for events that are preferably close to where you are. You can make a search of the World Wide Web or you can use events calendars such as Upcoming.org and Craigslist.org, to name a few.

Once you’ve found an event that interests you, get in touch with the organizer and signify your intent to sponsor it. If you are the assertive type of person, you can blatantly request for a link; otherwise, you’ll just have to hope that fate will be kinder to you. Although, really, getting a link from the event’s website can prove to be rather easy and expected in most cases because most of those attending the event are internet savvy to begin with. Nonetheless even if you don’t get the link that you desire, just the mere fact of meeting others through this can be very rewarding.

Donating to charity can also get you a link on the website of the institution or non-profit organization you choose to donate to. Try searching on Charity Navigator and BBB’s Accredited Charity Director for a list of organizations that you can donate to. Then take a look at the list of donors and check if links are offered. When Google donated to the FreeBSD foundation, it acquired a link from the donors list page. Again, even if you don’t get a link back (which is not very likely to happen, anyway), you are nonetheless doing a great thing by helping the organization.

Another thing you can do is to find other websites that you can buy. This may not exactly be an easy thing to do, though, but once you are able to do this, you can make link or redirect to your choice of URLs. You also have the liberty to retain the domain or move the content of the site to the domain that you have control over.

All these tips should be able to help get your site noticed without having to buy links.

Buying content that has an already established link popularity can be purchased and then you can move the content over to your own site. If you are willing to pay the price, no matter how expensive it is, you can simply search for a content that is already very popular, buy it and ask the owner to redirect the page over to your site. In a way, this method sort of allows you to buy a portion of the site. However, if you don’t want to spend much to do this, you can just buy the content and then promote it yourself.

A good example of this is when BuddyTV.com bought the content on OnlyWentWorth.org.

The fifth way of buying links without technically buying them at all is by advertising to viral traffic. After creating content on your site, attract members of certain Linkerati portals such as Digg, Techcrunch, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Techmeme, Memeorandum, Facebook and get them to share the content by using badges, widgets, and other tools.

You can also take advantage of bloggers to promote your site. Ask them for feedback about your product, have them evaluate your product, and so on. First thing, though, it is essential that you establish a relationship with bloggers. You can meet them personally or send each other emails; either way you are building trust that can make this particular step easier for you.

It can also be a great thing to search for sources that your content can be very useful. Then contact these sources and encourage them to use your content to gain more traffic, clicks and page views. In certain cases, you can pay them to have your content on their pages, but see to it that you get to receive the links back to your original content.

Finally, use writers, hosts, platforms and material to grow your blogs. Advertise to bloggers and assist them in building their own blogs. Provide them with marketing plans, strategies and trainings.
